Commission Guide
Whether you are commissioning a pet portrait or a piece of wildlife, the process is the same. Things to consider are; the size, subject, composition, budget, framing options and time frame.
I will work with you to find the best photo of the subject that is in line with both your vision and expertise to create a wonderful, special piece for you to cherish, or for you to gift to a dear friend.
When it comes to wildlife commissions, if there is a specific species and photographic pose you have in mind, I can work to source the image if you don't have a specific photo to work from, as not everyone has an African lion in their photo albums! I can get copyright to images that can be used from photographers around the world, to find the best reference photo that will mirrow what you want.
How it works
1.
Get in touch via my commission enquiry form at the bottom of this page.
2.
We will work closely together to decide the perfect photo you have, and the size keeping in mind budget, preferences and quality of the photo.
If you are local to Newmarket, I would be happy to come to you and meet your pet and take some photos.
3.
Once we have decided a size and photo, you pay a non-refundable 25% deposit and I will give an estimated date of completion
4.
You will receive progress photos (if you wish) throughout the drawing process.
5.
Once completed, you will be sent a digital proof of the piece to ensure you are happy with the outcome, before paying the remainder in full.
6.
It's time to receive the portrait!
This can either be through collection if local, or can be sent with tracking. I send all my parcels first class special delivery.
